There are 282 Munros. This print plots every summit in Scotland.

A munro is a mountain in Scotland that stands 3,000ft or more above sea level. The Scottish Mountaineering Club group these munros into sections. Each section consists of summits in a similar area.

This print uses the summit data of munros in each of these sections to create its own mountain ridgelines. A mountain of the mind.

Each of the sections consist of a varying number of munros and this is reflected in the width of the mountain ranges. The mountains in the foreground are the furthest south and the background consists of the furthest north. The ridgeline standing alone to the rear left represent the island munros.
