Red Bothy Cushion

Exploring the mountain bothies of Scotland with data in place of a map. This lambswool cushion plots the altitude of every bothy in Scotland to form a mountain skyline.

Each mountain within the design depicts a different latitude from south on the left to north on the right. The design maps Scottish Mountain Bothies from south to north where each mountain represent a different latitude (the mountains on the right of the print are further north). The image of the bothy is positioned at the same level as the lookout bothy in Skye. 

These merino cushions covers are made entirely from wool (there are no zips or buttons to remove the need for plastics) and are made in small batches to eliminate waste. The front features the bothy design and the reverse has two block colours to complement each colour way.
