The print will include any name you specify along with the date that the print will be based around. The rainfall data will be based on the location you chose.

Sending your Date and Text

Please add your date (day, month and year) to the 'notes' section when you get to the checkout or alternatively email rebecca@ploterre.com or you can reply to your confirmation email.

Details required for customisation

Please provide the date (day, month and year).

Available dates cover as recent as today and as far back as 1931.

You also have the option of adding a name(s), which will be positioned before the title of the piece 'weatherings' as shown in the examples.

If you would like any text in the 'name' position of the print (up to 40 characters including spaces) please also provide this along with the date, once you complete your order.

The Detailed Reading of the Print

The outer ring at the centre of the print will represent your chosen day, where each line of the print represents rainfall and the gaps represent temperature. So long lines mean wetter weather and large gaps mean hotter temperatures.

Each ring is a day where the outer ring represents your specified day and each previous ring represents a previous day. The number of rings within your print will be based on an aesthetic choice to ensure the print fits within the page.

The pattern of each ring undulates across a period of 5 years, where your chosen year sits in the centre.
