Watching the birds fly into the garden made me wonder about the spectrum of colours that paints the skies.

Using data from the garden bird watch survey and image analysis of RSPB illustrations, this piece attempts to answer that question.

100 colours from the 20 most common garden birds in the UK have been ranked based on how prevalent the bird and how dominant the colour.
